Coffee & Conversations:
9:30-11:30 on Saturday, October 26th, 2013

Coffee provided by the UMASS Dartmouth Ceramics Club

Come join us and hear the stories of Collectors II, Translation with Seth Rainville, Michelle Samour, and Gretchen Keyworth! Enjoy coffee while listening to our guests speak about acquiring certain works in their collections, the relationships they have formed through collecting, and what inspires the motivation to surround oneself with art. Afterwards, time will be provided for questions. Walking tours of the exhibit with the Collectors themselves will conclude the event.

Seth Rainville A potter, educator, and curator living in Dartmouth, MA. Rainville is also an active board member of the Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts.

Michelle Samour A multi-media artist whose installations, drawings and handmade paperworks explore the intersections between science, technology and the natural world. Samour resides in Boston, Massachusetts and is on the faculty of The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (SMFA).

Gretchen Keyworth The former director of the Fuller Craft Museum. Keyworth now focuses her time in her studio working in ceramics.
