Go Figure! / An Evolving Youth Art Exhibit

The art on view in the New Bedford Art Museum’s Community Gallery is art made by youth currently enrolled in the museum’s after school programs — artMUSed! and Jr. Docent & Portfolio After School Program.

Lessons for the youth art on exhibit are designed by museum educators based on NBAM’s current exhibit — “Humanly Possible/ 4 Figurative Artists,” on view in the Skylight and Heritage Galleries on the Upper Level of the museum.

Art for the “Go Figure!/An Evolving Youth Art Exhibit” will be added to this exhibit as lessons are completed and objectives reached.

The NBAM youth educators, Sheila Duarte Andrade, Roger Rouleau and Deana Tavares, hope you will visit the museum and enjoy this exhibit, and are encouraged to revisit the museum to see how the youth art “evolves”.
